Kanglun Vocational Training School
The "Liangdu Nursing Workers" Vocational Skills Training Base and Kanglun Training Center is a vocational skills training base jointly established by the Human Resources and Social Security Bureau of Liupanshui City and the Water Mine Hospital in conjunction with the development trend of the city's health and wellness industry. The base has a construction area of 3832 square meters and has invested more than 4 million yuan in various types of funds. It can complete the training of 19 professional occupations, including elderly care workers, elderly ability assessors, health massage therapists, maternal and child life care, postpartum rehabilitation, and health management specialists. It also has 4 standardized theoretical teaching rooms, 13 practical training classrooms, and 1 vocational skill level evaluation and examination center, which can provide training and accommodation for more than 200 people at the same time.
At present, the base has 52 professional training teachers in medical, nursing, traditional Chinese medicine, rehabilitation and other fields, equipped with intelligent elderly care systems, elderly assessment all-in-one machines, intelligent physical examination all-in-one machines, displacement machines and other professional teaching equipment.
In 2023, the "Liangdu Nursing Workers" labor service brand will be included in the provincial labor service brand library for key cultivation. In 2024, a total of 968 people received 12 training sessions and vocational skill level certification for elderly care workers, elderly ability assessors, caregivers, and infant caregivers. 928 people obtained vocational skill level certificates, with a certification rate of 95.8%, and 958 people were promoted to employment. The initial employment rate after training reached 99%. At present, the medical and elderly care center has employed 52 rural laborers, urban registered unemployed persons and other groups, all of whom have passed the base training and obtained certificates to work, with a monthly salary of over 3500 yuan.
In May of this year, the "Zhongshan Nanyue Home Economics Comprehensive Service Station" was established in the base and a training course for 50 teachers in Nanyue Home Economics was launched. Next, the training base will continue to coordinate policies, funds, and resource advantages to serve the development of the city's tourism industry, focus on the health connotation of the "China Liangdu" brand, integrate health care, medical care, and travel care, and vigorously promote the skill training of practitioners in the health tourism, health care, and health medical industries, promote employment through skill improvement, and transform ordinary workers into skilled workers from low-income to high-income.
The base offers majors including elderly care workers, elderly ability assessors, health massage therapists, Chinese chefs, public nutritionists, maternal and child care workers, new energy vehicle maintenance, home service workers, and baby caregivers.
